Zimbabwe
South Africa
Botswana
Zambia
Passion brings pilots from all around the world here because of:
Passion
Dreams
Career building
Challenge themselves
A Bush pilot ONLY needs TWO OF THESE :
ALTITUDE
BRAINS
AIRSPEED
The bush pilot doesn’t only fly, BUT also makes it his job to know his aeroplane passionately and intimately.
They take care of their aeroplanes like people, treating them with the highest level of respect.
In this picture you can see passion.
The ENGINE is the HEART
The PILOT is the SOUL
Bush pilots are not afraid of anything
They think OUTSIDE THE BOX
The sky is their home
They fly for pleasure
They inspire
They are patient
They are pilot, load master, refueller, engineer all at the same time.
They prepare their aeroplane thoroughly for flight
Especially after heavy rains and first flight of day
They dip the fuel tanks to ensure they have more than enough fuel for the trip ahead
A good bush pilot doe's a post inspection check, to ensure the aeroplane sits safely on the airfield.
They are dual type rated, and can fly many different aeroplane types on the same day
They personally welcome each passenger
They share their passion with everyone on board
They give them scenic views before they land
They are well prepared
They always have a back up plan
They always have local knowledge of the dangers that persist at the destination airfield
Most take- offs are HOT, HIGH and HEAVY or WINDY
They keep a LIST of all the THREATS of what can go wrong, so they ALWAYS COMPENSATE
They FEEL the FLIGHT
They don't FLY by FEEL
The are in TOTAL control
They always look outside to avoid any dangers, whilst admiring the scenic views
They RESPECT mother nature
They do not contend with her
They wait it out until it is SAFE to proceed
It is the bush, they can sleep anywhere
They personally take care of the aeroplane while taking their guests to the safari lodge.
They tie the aeroplane down to protect them from wild animals and weather
They clean the aeroplane and put it to bed just like a mother would a child
They clean the aeroplane before sun down
They tie down the aeroplane over night for enhanced safety

If animals can LIVE in PEACE
Why can't we
We were commanded to subdue all the EARTH
Clearly we still have lots to LEARN from the EARTH
No better time to start than the PRESENT MOMENT
