A simple argument can spue over a seat dispute

Seat disputes can escalate into a bigger FIRE than a real FIRE

ree

Pilots are well trained, and do FLIGHT SIMULATOR every six months to check proficiency

Pilots are well trained to deal with every kind of emergency that never occurred , occurred or could occur.

Even extreme crosswinds, turbulence and many other weather related events

Pan Am and KLM crash in Tenerife 27 March 1977 KLM 4805

This accident forever changed modern aviation.

It was caused by one man, the Captain of the KLM B747

The Captain disregarded his First Officer (Co-pilot) and flight engineer when he was challenged by them not to take off

"ABSOLUTE POWER CORRUPTS ABSOLUTELY"

Pan Am was backtracking to vacate the runway in heavy FOG

The ATC (air traffic control) told the Pan Am flight to "report clearing the RUNWAY"

The KLM Captain thought he heard ATC say "Clear for take off on that RUNWAY"

The KLM First Officer told the Captain "We are not cleared for take off"

The KLM Captain was impatient, set the engines to take off power disregarding the First Officer

The ATC did not see anything until it was too late due to the heavy FOG

B777 GE90 on take off

Every take off calculation is based on SINGLE engine.

Yes the aeroplane is designed to take off with ONLY ONE engine.

So, two engines is a BONUS.

They NEVER FAIL

If something goes wrong, the pilots will bring the aeroplane back to land safely.

B777 left hand engine fire upon rotation on take off

The pilots put the fire out and landed SAFELY

ree

ree

Engine still runs well regardless, as it is designed so well.

The pilots extinguished the fire and landed SAFELY on the other engine
