Social media and substance abuse are the same.

Are you over GOOGLED? Do you feel overwhelmed , anxious and exhausted ?

Where is your PHONE or DEVICE now? Probably out of charge, like you.

The first step to recovery in anything is to look at yourself in the mirror and admit . "I am an Social media addict , alcoholic , smoker, sex or porn addict".....

Believe it or not, this is MOST important step.

How to STOP social media addiction:

1) STOP notifications

2) SET TIMER, 1 hour/day, 7 hours/week. It is a strong test of your WILL POWER, worth it in the end.

3) PICK a new hobby. Learn a language, a musical instrument or read.

4) SPEND more TIME with LOVED ONES

5) LOOK at it as a TREAT, after you’ve done something productive.

6) TELL your friends you will be busy. Don’t allow them to add to this addiction.

7) Go COLD TURKEY. Vanish from online, replying messages, keeping updated socially .

8) Those who matter most will call you to meet for coffee

9) Keep track of time daily social media, or how many times you check your telephone

10) Keep reminding yourself of REALITY. Of what is REAL and what is NOT.

11) DELETE accounts and people, networks, groups that do not matter.

12) DELETE anything that is unproductive to you, doesn’t add quality to your life

13) PURGE your friends LIST , TRIM requests, edit security settings.

14) LIMIT your audience

15) Create DISTANCE between you and your device, especially in QUALITY TIME or BED TIME

16) Refocus on priorities

17) DEACTIVATE accounts

18) TRACK your time online versus TIME with REAL people

19) Make a LIST of family, LOVED ones and close friends, no more than 5 daily average, 10 absolute maximum, above 10, you have a problem.

20) Call instead of browse

Do you feel you are missing out, searching or scared you will miss something?

Do you spend time to COUNT LIKES?

How important is REAL LIFE LIKE or LOVE compared to an EMOJI 👍🏻👍🏾❤️🥰?

The people you are focused on social media are focused on other people.

How many friends on your friends list do you really know?

How do you categorise friends, close friends or acquaintances?

Which APP do you spend most time on?

YOUR ADDICTION is the APP YOU VIEW THE MOST .

What people write and how they are in person are two different things.

People cannot write their personality or true life character online.

Be careful of whom you friend

Be honest with yourself

If you are looking for LOVE that lasts, it will FIND YOU. Not the other way round.

Social media frequency statistics.

If you feel victim to this, then you need to switch off your device and lock it away.

Looking for answers often isn’t a solution .

Focusing on the very SMALL tasks and things have the BIGGEST effect.

It's okay to think BIG.

DO SMALL STEPS CONSISTENTLY TO ACHIEVE YOUR GOAL.

Take a break, the right time is NOW. Limit and begin healthy levels of social media today.

LET GO!!!

LOVE will find you.

Get outdoors.

Start being more active.

Spend quality time with your partner doing things.

FOCUS on YOURSELF and your partner.

NOT people online.

NOT SELFIES to UP your STATUS.

Small victories.

Everyday.

One STEP forward, is further than you were yesterday .

One STEP today, brings you closer to quitting.

Every STEP is Victory .

No matter how far.

No matter how long.

No matter how much you consumed.

IT IS NEVER TOO LATE.

Good habits take time to develop.

Adopt an attitude of a positive mindset, because your MIND can achieve anything you TELL it to.

All it needs is your WILL POWER.

Change your YES to a NO.

Nothing worse for a man to trade his life to lose his SOUL.

Remember , nobody is perfect . All you have to do is say YES i have the WILL to change.

It's not too late.

Quit today.

Better late than never.

Forwards EVER, backwards NEVER.

Every addiction is bad for our bodies. They ONLY benefit the producer.

The BEST time to STOP is NOW.

You can do it.
