How was this allowed to happen, on a blue sky day. This shocking footage shows the heart-stopping moment when two passenger planes narrowly avoid a collision at Mumbai airport. An Airbus A320 operated by IndiGo makes its final descent and touches down just as an Air India A320 takes off from the same runway. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has suspended the Air Traffic Control (ATC) personnel responsible for the incident on June 8th 2024. IndiGo flight 6E653, arriving from Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport touched down on runway 27 while the Air India flight AI657 was in the process of taking off for Thiruvananthapuram International Airport. This event is still under investigation to determine the cause of this alarming near-miss. Regardless the outcome, ultimate safety of the aeroplane rests solely with the flight deck crew. WTF and WTAF.

We have all had a WTF or WTAF situation happen to us, yet we survived it, purely because it was not the end of the world. We simply remained calm, and made a plan. Most times the best form of defence is offence. In short, let go, and go with the FLOW. Allow nature to take its course, whilst following the path of least resistance.

The chilling story of Alaska flight 261 crash that occurred on 31-JAN-2000 2.7 miles from Anacapa Island north of California. Although Denzel Washington takes a lot of credit for his movies, the real heroes of his story are the pilots of Alaska 261. A real WTF moment.
Alaska flight 261 an MD-83 carrying 83 passengers and 5 crew crashed soon after a “C-CHECK“ where the engineers did not service the horizontal stabiliser jack screw, which is responsible for the aeroplanes pitch control. Captain Tansky and First Officer Bill tried everything in the book to unjam the stabiliser. It unjammed and assumed an extreme nose down pitch attitude. Both pilots applied back pressure to the controls and recovered from the dive at 26000 feet FL260.
Captain Tansky then commented on the plane's tendency to want to pitch down. There were metallic thumping sounds and finally, the stabilizer gave way and the MD-83 pitched over violently, to which Captain Tansky replied, "this is a b*tch". The aircraft rapidly begins to descend, and the MD-83 was seen 'tumbling, spinning, nose down, continuous roll, corkscrewing and inverted'.
A pilot commented that "that plane has just started to do a big huge plunge". While inverted, the engines experienced compressor stalls and likely flamed out, causing the aircraft's rapid final descent. Alaska Airlines Flight 261 crashed inverted into the Pacific Ocean. None of the 83 passengers or crew members aboard survived.
To Alaska flight 261 passengers, pilots and crew, YOU ARE the TRUE HEROES. RIP SALUTE.
The famous scene from the movie FLIGHT starring Denzel Washington.

It is always better to be DOWN here, wishing you were UP THERE, than, UP THERE wishing you were DOWN here!

The following is my mental strategy to crush all WTF and WTAF moments, anywhere, anytime, any place.
To me I believe:
In the morning, the man in the mirror, is the person I want to see
My character is defined by the first three people that meet in the morning
I get a thrill from a focused mindset
I can do anything I need, it just requires my complete plan
I can execute anything i want, at anytime
I do not do meaningless conversation longer than three minutes
I crave challenge
I embrace conflict
I thrive on problem solving
I cannot stand stupidity
I do not understand people who do not plan
I refuse to be idle
I walk away from idle talk ipeople and action
I thirst for similar mindset
I treasure peace
I enjoy quietness
I love work, to work makes me happy
I struggle to switch off
I avail myself wholeheartedly to the thirsty mind
I live and exist in a state of FLOW
I seek moments of HYPER FOCUS
I love being told, "It is impossible, or better, I will beat you"
I get a little high from SUFFERING, without it, i would not want to do better
In the evening the man in the mirror is the REAL ME
To me, I am unafraid of anything
To me, nothing is impossible
To me, I am always READY

Most times the BEST thing to do is, to do nothing. Simply just let it be, and let nature take its course. Perhaps a good time to think or ask yourself, WTF.
This is The Vitruvian Man was created by Leonardo da Vinci around the year 1487. It is accompanied by notes based on the work of the famed architect, Vitruvius Pollio. The drawing, which is in pen and ink on paper, depicts a male figure in two superimposed positions with his arms and legs apart and simultaneously inscribed in a circle and square. The drawing and text are sometimes called the Canon of Proportions or, less often, Proportions of Man. It is stored in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice, Italy, and, like most works on paper, is displayed only occasionally.
The proportional relationship of the parts reflects the universal design. And a "medical" equilibrium of elements ensures a stable structure. These qualities are thus shared equally by God's creation of the human body and the human being's own production of a good building. In the late 1480s, this theme of the artistic microcosm emerged as one of the great unifying principles of his thought. This architectural application is not the end of the matter, however; it only represents the beginning of a concept which had a literally universal application.
After this next clip you might ask yourself this question. WTF?
The Last Supper painted by Leonardo Da Vinci. It depicts the moment when Jesus was sat with his twelve disciples. It shows the moment when Jesus said one of them sat there would betray him. Each disciple has their own expression of absolute shock, anger and horror, showing their own reaction to what Jesus had just told them.
The REAL WTAF!
